I always run 6013 on thin material just today I was replacing some pickits on a overhead gate which was pretty thin.. Fire up some 6013 and get it done most people hate on6013 but it has it's applications and this was one of them great video sir thanks!!

Everything is fixable don't give up on it..check for clutch/belt slippage do a continuity test on all 4 limits..the 1211 was a light duty unit no rev.contactor inside just ice cube DPTT relays for open/close so what I do is take them apart clean contacts and spray contact cleaner on them

Bi level torsion is always cool used in high cycle apps or if it's just a large door with not enough shaft space I.e way taller than it is wide and it's not two motors usually it's a slave rail running off the front of the motor operated shaft that's used on real wide standard and low head doors

Lookin good so far guys.. I like the tip with rod for spacing I will use that from now on when I need a open root 90% of my welding is in the field so that will come in handy on the tailgate thanks

I'm a lincoln man myself but it looks like a decent engine drive I'm also a door man and that's a nice rig in the background
