From 1997 through 1999, Lilith Fair was one of the highest grossing touring festivals in the world, with over 1.5 million fans in attendance and raising over $10 million dollars for national and local charities. Founded by Grammy-award winning artist Sarah McLachlan along with Dan Fraser, Marty Diamond and Terry McBride, Lilith Fair was the only tour of its kind—a celebration of women in music featuring artists like Sheryl Crow, Christina Aguilera, Erykah Badu, The Dixie Chicks, Missy Elliot, The Pretenders, Nelly Furtado, Jewel, Queen Latifah, Indigo Girls, Tegan and Sara and of course, Sarah McLachlan.

WTF? It seems like the people at Lilith have something against Erykah Badu...she was hands down the best performer that day at the Gorge ....and nothing!

I was at the 1999 San Diego Lilith Fair and fell in love with the whole experience and Chicago was all I expected and more. Mary J. just blew me away with her version of Stairway to Heaven - wow, Vita was electric, sorry that La Roux was not there and all the wonderful booths supporting womens empowerment. Betterbooks was great to meet in person. Thank you Sarah for the exceptional performance, all that you share and creating such a spiritual event. Blessed Be devora

Just heard on Fox, you canceled Phoenix due to 1070. How fefen dumb. Your a show trying to make money, I see from your other cancelations, it's not going all that well anyway. I will just say 70 percent of Az, is for the bill as the Fed's won't. Close to a 1/3 of my family are Indian, or Mexican we all want control of our borders, we are being invaded... Dan Simms Phoenix

My grown daughter and I are taking a road trip to attend Lilith Fair 2010 San Diego. Going to be a blast. But have to say, we are very disappointed that the Go Go's were forced to cancel due to health. Sure hope they are replaced by an equally known person/group.
