@NoNameC68 You really should take a deeper look at Paul other than a few issues you endorse. Ron Paul does not believe the separation of church and state is constitutional. and believes the government should foster a specifically Christian environment.

Teaching the Real Reason for the Season
This is a true account of a conversation I had with my children, regarding whether it is 'fair' to teach both scientific and religious explanations...
@MumblingMickey Creationism is still being taught in 13 percent of US classrooms. It is deemphasized in an additional 30 percent. We are still educating a large number of people who can't distinguish a myth from a scientific theory.

@stiimuli Thank you. We tried another recording, but Aron said," it sucked worse." He naturally did his voice overs from the start with no problems. I am working on it, and will try different things in the future with with his help. He struggles with patience, but he still helps.

@SutoKimor
I disagree with 3 points of yours.
1. Religion and science go hand and hand. Science has to be testable in order to be useful. Religion is not testable.

@OkamsRazer Persephone may predate the Greeks. However she may have been borrowed into the culture and grafted onto Kore the goddess of spring. Kore becomes Persephone after marrying Hades. There is more to the symbolism there in the relationship between death and renewal.

I had the "misfortune" of riding the bus to an upper-class, high school. My Dad was saving for his retirement 15 years from when I graduated. I left home when I was 18, and rode the city bus everywhere in Houston Texas. Try stopping at every stop for 40 miles to get somewhere. I literally wore...

@blesseddisciple "Easy answer... they are not behaving in a manner that is becoming of a Christian.... and being Christian does not make anyone "perfect" but rather "perfected" by the blood of Jesus to atone for our sins. I think atheists actually out number what I would call "true Christians"

@blesseddisciple So what is the reason for Christians who engage in "bisex" orgies? Proportionally Christians outnumber atheists, so they are engaging in this behavior in greater numbers. You have a lurid imagination BTW.

It is a former basketball arena. There were rock concerts in the past there. The church spent millions remodeling it. It is the most attended mega-church in the U.S. Google it's budget.

@alita589 I am married to a man who strongly opposed marriage. He has the ability to make medical decisions on my behalf. You do not have this ability with your partner. Marriage is not for everyone, but it necessary for some and shouldn't be denied to gays if they want it.

@lautz73 that is a federal ruling which Paul doesn't believe should apply to the states. He would be in charge of the federal government and would effectively work to negate Roe V Wade. Remember the executive branch appoints judges.

@NoNameC68 Rather than make an emotional response and insult me take a few minutes to think rationally. If Paul believes abortion is not a federal issue than in all the red states abortion will be outlawed by the state.
