Rayshawn Terry, brings another level of intellect to preaching! One member says."He's Somebody's Preacher"!

The twenty-eight year old, Carolina based Pastor is breaking the mold of the traditional preacher. Uninhibited, Pastor Rayshawn supecedes denominational barriers while preaching the Gospel in an uncompromising, relative manner.

Born in Dayton, Ohio, Terry was raised in the Sandhills of North Carolina in his earliest years by his great aunt, who saw to it that he would be well-versed in the Christian faith. Inspired by her example, he came to know and accept Jesus Christ as a young child. He recognized the call to ministry at age 3, and it was soon evident to Terry's family that the hand of God was upon his life.

It was apparent in the years to come that God would birth and bring to full maturation, this gift to the Body of Christ, which would be needed for such a time as this.

Today, Pastor Rayshawn Terry serves as the Founder and Senior Pastor of The Impact Church of Charlotte, a young vibrant, rapidly growing ministry, who's unconventional in their approach to Christendom. The fledgling church isn't your usual house of faith. It meets at an eatery on Sunday afternoons, and worship is held at the church's downtown location, in the heart of beautiful downtown Charlotte

Though there's no sanctuary, at least not yet, the congregants believes its small group infrastructure will afford them the opportunity to reach the most people for Christ in the least amount of time.

Pastor Terry, is not only a dynamic speaker, but also an accomplished musician. Piano is a part of his instrumental proficiency, privileging him to minister and travel extensively throughout the Southeast and abroad.

Pastor Terry received his secondary education from the Hoke County Public School System, and pursed higher education at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC where his major was History. Pastor Terry is currently pursuing a B.A. in Religion at Liberty University. He is a proud to have one son in his life, Cameron Xavier.

RADICAL, UNCOMPROMISING, FAITHFUL and STRONG, this young man stands boldly to declare the word of the Lord in the face of odds, speaking to the heart and soul of his generation. He is truly Out of the Box!
