My family and I got interested in raising chickens when our dogs were chasing after a stray chicken running around our property. It was a beautiful hybrid hen and was very friendly with people. We named the hen Spot and fostered her until she had a loving home. The new owner vaccinated her and kept her in a cage until they knew she wasn't sick. She then got put in the coop but sadly had gotten attacked by a raccoon. Spot will live on in our memories.
