About Me:
I think its really important that bird owners make sure their birds are happy, healthy and busy. Its from this belief that i have pursued things like sprouting seed, harvesting fresh wild seeds, sourcing native Australian plants which have nuts/flowers/seedpods/leaves/b
I am not an avian expert, just a lover of parrots. I will answer your questions if i can, but there are definitely holes in my knowledge. I love learning more about bird care so if you know of good bird videos please share them with me.
My family bred budgies when i was a child, and i have several budgies now, most of which are breeding. I also have cockatiels.

thanks to all my subscribers, i hope you have a great new year. I have been quite busy growing a baby human lately so havent had as much time for youtube as id liked... but stay tuned, in 2012 i intend to make some new, even better bird films on diet, bird health, and environmental enrichment.

My budgie is 8 years old, he's been ill for about 2 months now. I've watched your show about sprouting bird seed after an avian vet suggested I do that instead of dry seed. He's had a terrible weight loss, he should weigh at least 50 grams and he weighs only 30. He has a secondary yeast infection because he's stopped eating weeks back. He's eating the sprouts now, but is refusing fruits and veggies. Any suggestions on what else I could do for the poor guy, I feel so badly for him.
