Edward scissorhands was built but, not finished by an elderly inventor who lived in a big mansion on a lonely hill and died before finishing him and leaving the poor robot named edward scissorhands. A local Avon lady salesman named Peg takes him in after finding him and cares for him and hopes for the best but, unfortunately the whole neighborhood comes and meets him and takes advantage of him and gets him into a lot of trouble until a girl Peg's daughter named Kim falls in love with him and saves him and takes him back to his mansion and fakes his death after he kills her ex boyfriend. Years later Kim becomes a grandmother and shares her story with her granddaughter about Edward who lives forever as a robot and makes it snow by sculpting ice.
