Although [Light Mafia] acknowledges that because gloving is an art form there are many different techniques and styles of it, and although things like using undiffused lights with solid and slowblending bulbs pleases some glovers, it is overall considered unprofessional by the gloving community. And although ignoring actual moves and simply doing anything they think will look good pleases some glovers, it is considered unprofessional by the gloving community. These things are looked down on for good reason, as they don't create as pleasing an effect and simply look silly, for lack of a better word. These two factors in unprofessional gloving are very common among NorCal raves, and though we have nothing against those styles of gloving, our goal is to make professional grade light shows more easily available at raves. The word professional doesn't refer to the skill levels of [Light Mafia] members as much as having a well thought out and beautiful glove set, and utilizing technicality and flow in light shows.
Our mission: Providing professional grade light shows for ravers and all fans of EDM.
