"As a kid, Josh was constantly surrounded by music. His dad was a veteran keyboard player and used to play in a band in his earlier years. At the age of 5, Josh started with piano lessons and played for 5 years. Seeing that it was forced on him, he didn't really enjoy it and wanted to venture into other instruments. At the age of 11 Josh took on the drums and began playing regularly at church. But after a while, he again became hungry to learn other instruments and soon picked up the bass guitar, which ultimately led him to finding his beloved acoustic guitar. Since the age of 14, Josh has been writing songs and has been able to incorporate what he has learned through his experience with other instruments; a sound that instantly engages its listeners. Now at the age of 25, Josh is continuing to write and perform his music, hoping that it will make a connection with the world."

About the video:

This video is comprised of over 12,000 individual digital photos. One picture taken every thirty seconds each Saturday for six months. The camera used is a Nikon Coolpix 8700. The video was edited with Ulead Video Studio 11 on a Dell Vostro laptop.

When I originally agreed to help a friend volunteer to work for a single day at a Habitat for Humanity job site, I had no idea how much fun I was going to have. My original idea was to capture time lapse footage of that day as a record for myself and my fellow volunteers. I was instantly hooked on working on the house and getting to know all of the amazing people involved with making such an wonderful project come to life. As you can see from the video, I was so impressed and excited about the work being done that I returned every weekend until the project was completed.
