The purpose of this site is to celebrate and share in the love for these particular musical formats.

Debate and argument about the pros and cons of any particular artist is encouraged, but please do so with class and decorum. Good natured flaming or ribbing is not a problem, but if the argument gets serious(METULZ IZ SERIUS BIZNIZZ!!), try to avoid childish put downs or name calling. There are other groups for that crap.

The aim is to avoid blanket statements like "Slayer rawks" or "Metallica suck", but to elicit debates like "Slayer rawk!!!....and heres why....". In other words, if you are going to argue, back your point up.

If you're a sensitive person, or a big believer in political correctness, this is NOT the place for you. Move along.
