Forget resolutions, join Life Clubs

In January 2007 Penny had no idea what New Year's resolution to set herself. Although she ran her own marketing company, her life wasn't yet as she wanted it. She had qualified as a Feng Shui practitioner but still hadn't put together any marketing material to advertise her Feng Shui services. Penny felt, in her own words, very much "a great starter but not such a good finisher". Where to begin? Instead of deciding on another resolution she wouldn't succeed in, Penny, through a friend, heard about Life Clubs and decided to join. She soon became 'hooked', rarely missing one of the weekly workshops.

Penny found the support from Christine (her local Life Clubs Host) and the other members phenomenal. "I have learnt that there are only successes in your life -- what others might deem as 'failures' are for me just a few steps nearer to success." Penny began to look at her goals from a different perspective and soon found herself achieving them.

Eight months after first going to Life Clubs, Penny has given up smoking, taken up jogging regularly, decorated her sitting room (a task she had been putting off for 8 years!) and bought a house in France (something she had previously only dreamt about). Most importantly, she has put together a wonderful brochure for her Feng Shui Company, which has already resulted in clients.

Life Clubs was founded by Nina Grunfeld (author of The Big Book of Me, The Big Book of Us and columnist (Get A Life) for The Daily Telegraph) in 2006 in her living room. There are now Life Clubs across the country from Edinburgh to Tunbridge Wells. Nina's philosophy behind these weekly workshops is 'helping people to help people'. Every week you set goals, note your achievements and enjoy ever-changing topics. By working with the other clubbers you will be inspired, like Penny, to make your already good life better.

Workshops cost just £15 a week, or £105 for 10. Concessions.
