Live to Give - 19 Action News
Lifebanc has joined forces with 19 Action News for a year-long partnership called "Live to Give" to help increase the number of people registering to become organ, eye and tissue donors in northeast Ohio. An important ingredient in saving and healing lives at Lifebanc has been its strategy to attract attention to the need and also put positive images and messages out about the need for and benefits of organ, eye and tissue donation.
Lifebanc's partnership with 19 Action News helps get that message out and helps educate. Ohioans are generous by nature, responding to national and international crises every day, but Ohio residents are not responding to the critical need for organ, eye and tissue donors. With just over half of the state registered, there is still work to be done. With 19 Action News's help, Lifebanc seeks to change the culture and how we think about giving the Gift of Life in northeast Ohio. Through educational stories every month, our goal is to begin the dialogue and provide resources to help individuals make a donation decision based on the facts.
