About this user
Who am I? Well, I'm this tiny submicroscopic organism that lives on a little speck of dirt and water that floats around within a much bigger speck. There are others of my species that think that they are bigger and better than the others, but they're really just as small and insignificant as the rest of us. Their inflated sense of self importance is really just their egos, which seem to dwarf the universe itself. The little speck on which I live has many names, depending on the culture and language of who you ask. I've always known it as Earth. ...The bigger speck is called the Milky Way Galaxy...or at least that's what some others similar to me named it long before I was born. I try to learn as much as I can about my little planet and and even some about the universe, but I know that even if I could live a thousand lifetimes, it would still not be enough time to even scratch the surface of what there is to be known. None the less, I'll continue to learn all I can. One very important thing I've come to learn is that, of all the battles that have and ever will be fought, if enough of us could just win the battle within ourselves, all the other fighting would stop. I've also come to learn that this is something that can't be taught, but rather each of us must discover it on our own. Will I live to see that day? ...I'm not so sure. But what I do know is that, while I am here, wherever I go, I will live as an inhabitant of the kind of world that I believe this could be. If its a fight you want, you won't find one here. I'll speak my truth the best I know how and that's really all I ask of anyone else.
