Christ, isn't it time to let Phil's ghost rest?

Going seeing them this weekend - think this will be the encore. Won't be Phil, but should still be great. That's the thing about great songs, they keep going and get passed on to the next generation.

Mind, having said that, my own attempts to play this on guitar.... sheesh, not really honouring...

Not a great sound, but underneath that it's clear you can play it.

Really tight boogie shuffle + back beat - I love it when a plan comes together...

Great stuff. Taken as a succession of notes, any half decent player could do that - but it's the phrasing, timing, vibrato and precision on the bends that gives it class. Also, a real sesne of restraint. If I'd have been playing it I'd have felt almost forced to start shredding half way through -...

@ivarus75 Weird really - GM is genuinely one of my favourite guitarists. He's fantastic doing the rock stuff and can certainly do more restrained blues. He just seemed to go through a phase of doing guest spots with some of the greats and playing inappropriately fast, dense shredding solos. Fe...
