Billy Franks is a Legend. Its a massive shame the music industry in the UK has not recognised him allowing additional exposure that the young guys around today can connect with. His music, his lyrics and style are encapsualted in Eventide, a song which means so much to me personnaly.

this is a fantastic version of bob dylans song ... i've seen the boss and band several times in england from 85' to date and great shows each one .. however a little bit of me rues the fact i never got to see him in small venue playing songs like this ... the almost manic euphoric melody is pure ...

Billy Franks is world famous .. in my world ... from the faith brothers to this song ... he's a legend ... when the music world finally tunes in the public recognition will flow ..... but to me he will always be Billy Franks, singer song writer supreme and credit to the Music Industry that fails ...

ennio's music is brought to emotional life here by Rieu and his orchestra .... brought tears to my eyes in the film and as the lady in this video does ..it brings a tear to my eye when i watch this ...

this has such a rolling stones feel ... covered in atmosphere ... its a mark of the boss's class that this (and many other song) ended up as an out take ...... but The Promise has righted any wrongs I guess ... thanks to original poster ..
