Hi Jeff, in our profession we call it filo pastry, pronounced like pillow.

Making filo pastry is time consuming but is very useful, can wrap it around lamb backstraps to make a lovely dish. Filo pastry once baked should become flaky and crispy, hence why the butter helps in that regard.

overseas i use to have so much coconut that i got sick of them. Lighting fire using bamboo is an awesome method. I've basically perfected it, your arms get a little weary though.

it would be great if the law allowed us to carry machetes so if we get lost we can survive. Heck it would be great if we could carry knives in Australia.
