start off with 1 and push LB right away(do not do anything with fang) wait till the cactuar grows then wait again till the cactuars grows to mature the switch to 2 and go full assault. use 3 if you need healing
the sentinel is pure for the dangerous debuffs,if you do not have a sentinel the cactuar will attack Fang and Hope and if he hits you he will debuff you making you unable to attack
just watch the video and earn your 30.000CP every 2minutes

Vanille is only a lvl 2 commando, no faithra, no shroud, minimal accessories. I mixed it up and had Lightning use enthunder cuz Sazh just stands around.
As if I even needed to emphasize the dominance of the vanille death method. So I'm calling it now.. This is the world record. No one can even come close. The next closest is my own with 300 more attack power. Closest I've seen from anyone else is more than 1000 attack points out.
Sazh was useless in this fight. If Hope didn't have such a high magic stat, I would have used him instead.
