@MarcinBrys Because a polonaise is a form of music, in which he composed to this piece. This piece is also in the timing of 3/4, rather than 4/4. Most marches are in 4/4, 2/4, 2/2, 4/8, 6/8, or 12/8. It fits better as a polonaise. And I like the -dancing feel- that he puts through out this piece ...
