About Me:
The musical base of Leviathan is Death Metal and Melodic Death Metal, but by incorporating progressive influences and classical, orchestral parts in their music, the band tries to find their own unique sound.
Formed in late 2007, the band's current lineup was finally completed when Keyboarder Fabian Gocht joined the band at the end of 2008.
In 2009 the band started to perform live on a regular base, in March 2010 the first EP called "From The Desolate Inside" was recorded and released two month later. In August 2010 the Band reached the final of the New Blood Award and therefore played live on Summer Breeze Open Air 2010.
In September 2010 the debut EP "From The Deslolate Inside" also was voted "Demo of the month" in the german Metal Hammer Magazine.
