Hey, I'm Levi Tims, an aspiring idealist caught in the maelstrom of indecisive (or perhaps the incompetency of the) late teenage years. =P

So, I'm an English major in case you couldn't tell by my first paragraph, and I really absolutely love it. Language is my thing, and Advanced Grammar and Linguistics courses are my nectar. =P The literature courses are a needed curse to even things out a bit.

My minor is International Studies and illuminates the other side of my interests. I'm a xenophile, with close friends from France, Japan, China, USA, the Phillipines, Korea, and... I think that's about it. =P I'm studying Language and Culture in Nagoya University of Foreign Studies (NUFS, which is really fun to say =P) and will hopefully soon meet some of my old friends and some old acquaintances that will hopefully be able to guide me into a career or Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL).

Aside from Language and Culture, I really love music. I've been in a band that's played about in concerts and made a fair (not good, but fair) amount of money before as a rhythm guitarist and recently was in a band that played... two concerts with me in it and we earned about $20, I think. =P Not bad for a first few concerts, but it was okay. =P I like drumming ten times better than the guitar, and I would love to get in a band and play professionally, but I know that's unrealistic, so I'm spending my efforts in college as a kind of Plan A for my dream Plan B. =P

So, yeah... I think that pretty much covers me. If you want to know more, just talk. =P
