@daytonmlivingston 'His chord structure is strange too' < Could you tell me more about it please? The only thing that i know is his chord structures are based on chromatic harmony progression, which it has been used a lot by Chopin himself and Mendelsohn.

@CallMDel Hamauzu might have had revised and edited the score before public release, this can possibly caused by dissatisfied succession seen by the composer, or he simply wanted to levelling down the difficulties of the pieces.

@937olter haha you're right. I was expecting equal amount of orchestral scape from Masashi Hamauzu to balance off the other composers' experimental/digital sound stuff, that's why I wasn't completely impressed by it. But more or less it's a good OST on it's own.

Rachmaninoff's piano concerto no2 was my first classical piece that I've ever loved, it bring me straight into classical, and now i am doing my A-level A2 Music it is also this concerto again with Ravel's concerto in G inspired me to compose my very own concerto.

@JohnRichardDeacon Any instruments has its own challenging side really... and of course playing drums or tympani must know their rhythm and tempo extremely well and also have to learn all kinds of pitched and none pitched percussions, which is a lot. OTL

It wasn't a big hand stretch piece, not too big the largest chords spread only an octave far apart and the chord hand shapes isn't too awkward too, so i would say as long as your hands can both stretch up to an octave you'll be fine...

@Staremonemesis I think it's like half sampled choir with a real soprano voice recording; the choir sounded a bit breathless that's what i am guessing it's sampled although it is doubled by a group of string so it's hard to determined...

Each one of those high notes goes through me like a bloody knife stabbing me down my back... if it isn't that problem i am having, i would consider this as a nice abstract Dada art...

@ciceronx probably taken some minor influences from the very first movement with a few other solo tenor part. I wouldn't go as far to use the word "ripped off" as it's a major insult to any artist and their works, it really does hurt from their point of view...

@mikephelancomposer you've left one of the important point out about impressionism, they tend to have a blurred effect from the visual art's vision. very brief in the overall results but closing up to see the detail, each notes from an impressionist composer is equivalent to a single rough brush ...

@Diremagic if they used a flute it would sound too exotic at once, but i am guessing that the reason they are using piccolo is to get a eastern taste. what i really like about piccolo is that they're the only one wood wind instrument in orchestral which can truly break through the thick texture, ...

EX mode should call Power of Occurian etc. and will be in the form you've just said.

@Varce you're right it is in-fact both song is in 3/4 or 6/8, although type-2 has less waltz pattern (more like a horse racing to me sometime) As what duranls've said before is like classical aria which they can be accompanied by piano, orchestral, etc. what makes this two piece of music so stro...
