I have been fighting Leukemia since August of 2001. I have been doing so much better now that I have been on a medication called Gleevec. My doctors put me on that medication immediately when it was approved through the FDA. I have no active Leukemia cells now, we're working on getting my cytogenetics in remission. For everyone who does have any type of blood cancer don't give up or lose hope.
