After organizing our bookshelf almost a year ago (http://youtu.be/zhRT-PM7vpA), my wife and I (Sean Ohlenkamp) decided to take it to the next level. We spent many sleepless nights moving, stacking, and animating books at Type bookstore in Toronto (883 Queen Street West, (416) 366-8973).

GLOOMY SUNDAY ~ Artie Shaw & His Orchestra ~Pauline Byrne ~1940 ~ Bluebird Records.
This is a "deep" song, as the lyrics will tell, but it was just like Artie Shaw to record something like this. Maybe it was because Artie was known to be "gloomy" at times himself and he could possibly relate to the sentiment & sorrow of this song. Artie Shaw's theme song was a song called "NIGHTMARE" and it too, had a "gloomy" sound to it, but whether it was a sad sounding tune or a up-beat number, Artie Shaw & his Orchestra were absolutely great, as were, many of his vocalists.
