Paul Logister (leadvocals) wrote the song as a tribute to The Beatles. To get the sound that's typical for the sixtes and more specific The Beatles, the musicians played on very 'old' gear (VOX AC30 Ampeg and a Ludwig drumkit). They also used an analogue recorder. For the piano part they used the same piano as The Beatles did on Lady Madonna and Obla di Obla da. They also recorded two other Logister/songs; Whole Lotta You and Three little words (less info)
