Début 2009 Les Sparxx (Groupe composé de Sarah Ambulante et Farah Bernard) étaient en pleine période dexamen et aller au lycée comme tout adolescent normal. Retour six mois en arrière, elles se sont embarquées dans une grande aventure musicale prenant contact avec Jutland Studio, une maison de production londonienne afin de produire leur premier single.
Originaire du centre de Paris et de parents multi-culturels les filles, âgées juste de 16 ans, ont commencé à écrire des chansons dès l'enfance, sous l'influence musicale de leurs parents : ' ma mère écoutait souvent du Jazz ou des musiques des années 80 quant à mon père, il aime les nouveautés dit Sarah . Farah a apris le Violoncelle dès son plus jeune age, suivi du piano, elle a également chanté dans plusieurs chorales, cest alors que Farah découvre sa nouvelle passion. Cependant, ce n'est que quand après avoir regardé un épisode d'Hannah Montana que les filles ont vraiment commencé à croire en leur rêve et en nont fait une réalité : ' nous regardions Hannah Montana un jour et nous avons juste pensé à nous, que nous pourrions vraiment le faire, que ce nétait pas impossible '. Les deux sont fiers de leurs influences musicales, citant ainsi Madonna, la Roux, Lady Gaga, Make the girl dance et David Guetta comme certains de leurs favoris.
Un mélange delectro-pop, house, le duo explore la vie des adolescents et les différentes sources de la vie, notamment le bien et le mal. AGAIN, une musique écrite par les filles elles-même ou elles relatent la joie de samuser librement et de vivre sa vie. Again est une chanson qui parle de sortie et des erreurs que lont peut faire ...I love est une chanson qui ne parle pas forcement damour comme son nom lindique mais détaille ce que les filles aiment plus particulièrement dit Farah.
At the start of 2009 Les Sparxx (born Sarah Ambulante and Farah Bernard) were sitting exams and living out their formative years in the usual teenage fashion. Fast-forward 6 months and they have embarked on a burgeoning music career, hooking up with Jutland Studios in preparation for their first official release.
Hailing from Paris central and the product of multi-cultural parents the girls, aged just 16, began writing songs from an early age, influenced by their parents interest in music: My mother always played Jazz around the house, says Sarah when asked about the music she grew up listening to. But my father was always into electro, a lot of pop. Farah took up the Cello at an early age, followed shortly thereafter by the piano as well as singing in several choirs and further enhancing their deep fascination with music. However, it was not until after watching an episode of Hannah Montana that the girls really began to believe that their dream could become a reality: We were watching Hannah Montana one day and we just thought to ourselves, we could really do this, its not impossible. Whilst being somewhat sheepish of Hannah Montanas influence over their decision to pursue a musical career, the two are proud of their musical influences, citing acts such as Madonna, La Roux, Lady Gaga, Make the Girl Dance and David Guetta as some of their favorites.
Fusing elements of electro-pop, Hip-Hop and house as well as other up-tempo sounds, the duos songs explore the lives of teenagers, growing up and progresses though the good and the bad times in life. Again, a song penned by the girls themselves, is all about partying, living life to the full and having fun: Again is basically about partying and mistakes, says Farah when asked about the songs meaning. Its about all of those mistakes that you continuously make growing up. I Love is also a fun-loving song, detailing their girls many loves, Its just a fun girly song, says Farah.
