I am devoted "bunny slave" to two bunnies, Leroy and Jeannie.

The name Leroy is from the French "Le Roi" meaning "the king," and that he is. He's spoiled rotten :) Leroy is a grey and white, neutered, male, mini rex, born Spring 2008. I adopted him from the local humane society in July 2009.

Jeannie is short for Eugénie. The name Eugénie means "noble" or "well born" in French, and it fits in with theme of royal French names. Jeannie is a dwarf hotot (white fur, black rimmed eyes), and the woman who developed the blanc de hotot breed was named Eugénie. Also, she has Jeannie's eyeliner from the show "I Dream of Jeannie". Jeannie the bunny is a spayed female, born late Summer or early Fall 2009. She was found running loose in a parking lot in Fall 2009, and was rescued. Leroy and I adopted her Feb. 14, 2010.

Side note: I strongly encourage anyone looking for a pet to adopt rather than go to a breeder or a pet store (for dogs especially, there are even breed specific rescues!).
