A recent bunny-parent (since Nov.30, 2008), and a very proud one. :) I've thoroughly researched rabbits since adopting Baby Sammie. My boyfriend brought Baby Sammie home from the Humane Society as a surprise, and so I learned everything I could about rabbits, in a hurry, so that I could properly take care of our new little puff-ball. lol. I'm now knowledgable in bunny behaviour, grooming, feeding, playing, body language, handling, bunny-proofing, housing, litter-training and somewhat versed in rabbit anatomy, health, and how to find a veterinarian trained in rabbit care. Feel free to ask me questions about rabbits :)
I later searched for a bonding friend for Samantha, and found the adorable, neutered, young boy bunny, Skipper. I adopted him through Rabbit Rescue Inc., and he's been my baby boy since February 3, 2009. Samantha and Skippy (and I) had a very long bonding journey of about 10 months, until they bonded right before Christmas, 2010. They're now friends for life, and love each other very much.
