My nickname is Lenard and that is what I'll be known by on this site.I am a bassist in a progressive band and we are just starting off and hoping to get our first gig here soon. I picked up the bass about a year and a half ago and I have gained my skills through particular lessons and constant practice. As with everything there is much more that I need to learn to become a better bassist, and practicing will be the only way for now. My influences are Geddy Lee, John Paul Jones, Steve Harris, John Myung and Billy Sheehan mainly.
I enjoy seeing what other bass players my age have come up with; it inspires me to continue onward. Plus, I can learn a trick or two or they can teach me how to do something neat on bass.
I'm very easy going and laid back. I have no problem with being a grammar nazi, however, but don't take it personally. It's meant as a way to mess with ya.
My favorite music genres are Progressive rock, Blues and Blues-rock. Rock and roll in it's entirety is fantastic. I'll listen to rap or techno as well.
I think its funny how the three legendary ex-Yardbirds guitarists (Clapton, Beck and Page) would at different times have the same looking haircut and look like each other.
