About Me:

I like most music, esp classic rock and R&B, trains, esp real, esp steam and HO, I trade some trains on eBay and plan on building HO & O-scale structures for eBay and HO & N-scale layouts for eBay. Am semi-retired from mainframe computers, have a college age son, a wife and a dog and live in the country in Western PA, Grew up in Eastern PA. Home RR is the Reading Company (Bethlehem Branch just North of Lansdale and the electrification). Grad of Temple University (Phila, PA). Served in the USMC and USMCR and saw a lot of America (Carolinas, VIrginia, Missouri), but not the world (except one day in Panama).. After Temple (Phila, Pa), took my first job at Mellon Bank in Pittsburgh and worked at many major Pittsburgh companies such as Alcoa, PNC, Highmark and Westinghouse. Lived in the city for a number of years (Shadyside), married and later split from a Pittsburgh girl, had a son and now live with him north of the city in the countryside outside of Butler. Have played in some rock bands over the many, many years (keyboards and backup vocals) and would like to someday do it again, but am currently very very rusty. Clean and sober for a good number of years.
