LEMURIA

Some may know this project as Sargothem. I have changed the name to Lemuria, and therefore created a new channel.

Those who are new, Lemuria is an Ambient/Folk/Black Metal project. I have many songs written, and they are on my previous profile. With the name change, there are also going to be a few other changes. First of all, a change in the quality of all of my compositions. I will no longer be using programmed instruments. I am also working on a logo, and album artwork. In the near future, some previous tracks, aswell as some new ones will be up with better quality.

There are many influences for this project. My original plans were to write Melodic Death Metal. But I currently enjoy writing what I'm writing. I enjoy writing Metal, but with an Ambient/Gothic twist aswell. My biggest influences are mostly Gothic / Symphonic / Neoclassical / Metal artists, such as Therion, Nox Arcana, Nightwish, Dark Sanctuary, Adrian Von Ziegler, Carach Angren, Finntroll, Eluveitie, etc. Subs, adds, are all appreciated, and thanked. If you'd like to hear what Lemuria will come to be, please do so. I enjoy hearing all your opinions on what I write, so please, share. The Name:
The name "Lemuria" is a lost continent that was believed to have sunken below the Indian/Pacific Ocean. Though the story of Lemuria is no longer a valid scientifical hypothesis, it is believed, mostly by members of the occult, that it had existed in ancient times, but sank beneath the ocean, in result of a geological, cataclysmic change.

Lemuria is also the 12th full-length studio album by Therion.
