is standard retorical question.,, like when someone asks you something, but you have nooo idea, you say: well,, why are bananas curved? and then hes like: huh, wtf? and you like: yeah thought so;)
fun reply could be: well, else they wouldnt fit in their skin now would they? :D
try it sometime when you in holland,, everyone will be amased how much you know about typical dutch humour ;P
