Leif Nygaard

Biography 2011

Working as an actor in Vancouver for the last 3 years, Leif is currently in Norway shooting the feature film "Skumringslandet" playing the lead character "Vilhelm" - investigating a mysterious serial-killer in a mountain village, set in Norway in the mid 1300's.

After graduating with a bachelor in modern/contemporary dance in Europe and working and touring for 3 years, Leif returned to Canada to pursue acting. Leif is passionately dedicated and works in great depth with his preparations for roles, even loosing 24 pounds for one role while earning his living as a service bartender. His short films, to name a few, have been to Slamdance and Toronto International Film Festival winning awards along the way. With Johnny Depp sort of looks and bringing multifaceted characters to life, Leif is great for any film project or TV-show...
