You know those moments in life when you finally feel like you've figured everything out and you're filled with this enormous sense of peace and instant well-being at this wonderful epiphany which you've come upon? Those moments where you're so excited by what you've discovered that you want to tell the whole world about this wonderful new understanding and level of comprehension of the complexities of life?

This is so not one of those moments.

I am not who I thought I'd turn out to be, nor am I even who I once was. I exist. I live. I breathe.......and that is more miracle than you would ever believe. Regardless of who I am now, I am acheiving shalom a little more every day on this red rarely-trodden path of earth which I must claim as my own. On the heritage of my ancestors and the tales and values I plan to pass down to my descendants, I stake my soul. Comic books don't solve everything. They'll never achieve world peace, solve world hunger, win the civil rights movement for all, or start a revolution. (You need a bigger fanbase for that. ;-))
