'I'm a part of history'
Legasee is one of the first consolidated attempts to create a national film database focusing on the views and attitudes of war veterans, and as such, represents an important new addition to learning resources. While remembrance ceremonies and battle anniversaries are regularly reported on TV, this coverage rarely focuses on veterans' personal experiences for more than a few seconds.
Legasee aims to cover military life in much more depth by focusing on individual stories and viewpoints. Our films provide a permanent educational resource for school and college students, giving them access to the individual views and knowledge of war veterans as part of political and social history studies.
Legasee Ltd operates as a Social Enterprise and is a not for profit company.
