My Story

Ages ago, I used to be one ordinary normal girl; hour-long phone calls, parties, etc. I'm the only daughter of Harry and Sue Clearwater and the older sister of Seth. Sam Uley's ex-girlfriend and Emily Young's second cousin. I am sad, bitter, grouchy and mean so therefore, disliked. The hell I care. My family and I lived a normal life. Mom and Dad spend time being full-time parents to us. Mom loves cooking while Dad is fond of fishing with his friend, Charlie Swan, who lives outside the rez, in Forks. We lived in peace and bliss until one day I woke up as life starts to press the punchlines on me. One night, Seth and I got sick. We thought we just caught some random fever. Our temperature rose up to 'abnormal' levels until it finally stopped to a hundred and eight degrees. At that moment, I experienced a stabbing pain in every inch of my body, like I'm being torn apart, like something's breaking out from inside me. I thought I was going to faint but I didn't. Instead, I ended having paws and fur. After a few minutes, I heard Seth scream and when I ran to him I saw it, he phased into a wolf too. I cursed that day not only because I was a huge grey wolf but because that day marked the beginning of my suffering. Being a wolf, and a protector of the land, makes you a part of 'the pack'. Unfortunately, the alpha of the pack is Sam Uley. And being a pack means having your thoughts broadcasted. Dumbing it down, everybody could hear every single thought that you think. It caused me further pain because I am daily in a forced mental link with Sam, reminding me that he abandoned me for my cousin. As revenge, I use this connection to punish Sam and the whole pack with my memories, and by bringing up uncomfortable subjects, all things the pack would rather forget. Jacob once described me harpy, which I took as an offense.
