Gabriel has been immersed in music since he was five years old, most notably with the Piano, his most proficient instrument, having taken several years from the same teacher. By the time he reached highschool, he was quite familiar with many instruments and began mentoring under an elderly former conductor of the Memphis Symphony in an old music store in downtown Memphis, Tennessee.
During his last year in highschool, Gabriel formed the pop / rock band LeCREW. They were offered several small contracts with independent labels and decided to hold off.

Gabriel would meet his first Hollywood mentor, Robert Ulrich, while attending drama school in Texas. One of the most successful casting directors in Hollywood, Robert Ulrich is responsible for casting the world-wide hit TV show "Glee", and was in Fort Worth, Texas, heading an open call for the reality sister-show, "The Glee Project". Out of the 40,000 world-wide auditions, Gabriel made the top 40, just two cuts before the final 12.

Shortly after, Gabriel left college and returned to Los Angeles to take several meetings sparked from his exposure with Glee's producers. A week into his arrival, he was signed by big-time theatrical and music agent Thor Bradwell at William Morris Endeavor Agency. Immediately he was sent out to audition for the lead role in the upcoming Warner Bros. picture "Rock of Ages" from the Broadway adapted musical. Gabriel was called back several times to the studio lot to fight for the role in opposition to Diego Boneta and 3 others. Although he did not land the role, this got him the attention of the Vice Presidents of casting at Warner Bros., Fox, Sony, Dreamworks, and Universal. He was then signed by Untitled Entertainment for management.

Gabriel began actively pursuing his music career shortly after being introduced by his manager to Grammy, Oscar, and Golden Globe winning songwriter Diane Warren, who's name and works can be found in the Songwriter's Hall of Fame. Gabriel then met one of Diane Warren's producer's Jack D. Elliott. Jack has worked with a wide array of multiple international sensations, from producers such as David Foster to artists such as Brittany Spears, Back Street Boys, 'N Sync, and many others. Jack D. Elliott signed a producing deal with Gabriel shortly after meeting in his home studio.

Gabriel is currently recording his first single: "After You", which is to be released later next month. As an actor, writer, and musician first and foremost, Gabriel has been truly blessed in his current endeavors and new-found friendships in fellow artists and prominent mentors, and hopes to inspire others throughout the world with his love for music, and most importantly, to be inspired by everyone around him; from his talented friends and wise mentors, to his devoted followers, such as you.
