I am a huge (HUGE) Callas fan but this rendition is EXCELLENT!. Beauty, beauty and BEAUTY!!!

Let's not ignore the tremendous role the orchestra plays here. Sometimes it even does not sound something "neoclassic" (specially on 7:14).

She sang Lucia, Nabuco and Lakme at this night.

It is surprisingly good up to the high c but from that point on (and a little earlier too) her interpretation does not match Leonora's despair in this aria. It gave me impression she was going to start dancing or that she was saying she loves someone.

Of course, Bellini isn't good enough for her or for her maestro, so they decided to ""improve it""... And here is not that bad... There is an Armida which is extremely annoying (and difficult to recognize). Ok if she wants new cadenzas or "oppure", but she misses entirely Bellini's Style.

I've been around for 45 years listening to singers and I myself was once a professional singer (not successful though). This young black tenor is able to move one to tears just for the beauty of his voice and his 'fraseggio".

I thiank god these miracles keep coming.
