Lawrence Jacinto

Lawrence Jacinto was born on October 12, 1996 in Ontario.

Lawrence Jacinto is a Classical Pianist (not famous yet), who has performed at his school, and a retirement home.

Lawrence began his studies on the piano at the age of eight, November 2004, under the instruction of Henry Chmay. Henry started him on a Henry D'Auberge Piano Course. After three months with his teacher, his teacher passed away, leaving him restless to get a new teacher.

He was delayed three months while his parents were looking for another teacher for him. After contacting friends who had children learning piano, they came across, Rachael Haynes, on May 2004.

With his new teacher, he learned pieces from Alfred's Basic Piano Library. Lawrence has completed RCM Grade Levels: 3, 5, and 6, and is currently on Grade 7.

After two years into his piano education, May 2007, Lawrence taught himself, his first Classical Piano Piece which is leveled at Grade 7:

Beethoven: Bagatelle In A Minor, WoO 59 "Für Elise".

After three years into his piano education, May 2008, Lawrence listened to his first Major Classical Music Recording. The recording was found on his cousin, Isaiah's C.D.

Mozart: Piano Concerto # 9 In E Flat Major, K 271 - 3. Rondeau Presto.

He was immediately captured by the beauty of Classical Music, so he listened to more found on the C.D. One that he particularly liked was:

After listening to the recording, he asked his teacher to find him the sheet music for the Sonata movement. Once he received the Sonata, he immediately started teaching himself and he taught it to himself within a week.
