I know what it's like to want to fly, and then feel scared or overwhelmed once it happens. No one wants to be pinned to the ground, but to soar in the sky is still a bit frightening at times. It makes us vulnerable, and I don't have to be 13,000 feet high to be fully aware of that! I just have to have high aspirations. That's when I remember what God said to Jeremiah:

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)

About Me:
I also have high hopes of studying abroad in Australia before I graduate. I finally passed the writing evaluation, which I cannot study abroad without. I made a third attempt to go to Australia earlier this year. This is my third year trying, and now I'm the 1st Alternate so if only 1 student drops I'll be going to Perth in February. I am hoping very much that I can spend an entire year there, including Christmas. I truly want to experience 4 seasons in Australia, just to get a view of life through their eyes. My hopes right now with the economy and my low stress threshold... let's just say this is the very reason why I sought out friends in Australia: to keep my hopes alive that I'll make it there one way or another.
