'Aḷḷaah, the Most High, says (interpretation of the meaning): "He it is Who has sent His Messenger [Muḥammad ṣallaḷ-ḷaahu `alaihi wa sallam] with guidance and the religion of truth ['Islaam], that He may make it ['Islaam] superior to all religions. Kullu khairin fit-tibaa`i man salaf,
wa kullu sharrin fib-tidaa`i man khalaf.
Every good is in following those who went before (the Salaf),
and every evil is in the innovations of those who came later.

It was narrated that Muḥammad ibn Seereen (ṛaḥimahuḷ-ḷaah) said: "This knowledge is the [foundation of] religion, so watch from whom you learn your religion." (Ṣaḥeeḥu Muslim, #26)

Narrated 'Aboo Huṛaiṛah (ṛaḍiyaḷ-ḷaahu `anh):
I heard the truthful and trusted by 'Aḷḷaah [i.e., the Prophet ṣallaḷ-ḷaahu `alaihi wa sallam] saying (what means): "The destruction of my followers will be through the hands of young men from Quṛaish." (Ṣaḥeeḥul-Bukhaariyy, 7058, cf. 3605, 3604; Ṣaḥeeḥu Muslim, 2917)

Saalim ibn `Abduḷ-ḷaah ibn `Umaṛ (ṛaḍiyaḷ-ḷaahu `anhumaa) said: "O people of 'Al-`Iṛaaq, how often you ask about minor issues when you are committing major sins? I heard my father, `Abduḷ-ḷaah ibn `Umaṛ, say: I heard the Messenger of 'Aḷḷaah, ṣallaḷ-ḷaahu `alaihi wa sallam, say (what means): 'Tribulation will come from there,' and he pointed with his hand towards the east, 'where the horns of the Shaiṭaan appear.' You are striking one another's necks, but Moosaa (`alaihis-salaam) killed the one whom he killed of Pharaoh's people by mistake, and 'Aḷḷaah, Glorified and Exalted is He, said to him (interpretation of the meaning): 'Then you did kill a man, but We saved you from great distress and tried you with a heavy trial.' (Ṭaa-Haa 20 : 40)" (Ṣaḥeeḥu Muslim, 2905)

Narrated Yusair ibn `Amṛ:
I asked Sahl ibn Ḥunaif: "Did you hear the Prophet, ṣallaḷ-ḷaahu `alaihi wa sallam, saying anything about 'Al-Khawaarij?" He said: "I heard him saying while pointing his hand towards `Iṛaaq: 'There will appear in it [i.e., `Iṛaaq] some people who will recite the Quṛ'aan but it will not go beyond their throats, and they will go out [leave] 'Islaam as an arrow darts out through the game's body.'" (Ṣaḥeeḥul-Bukhaariyy, 6934)

Thawbaan (ṛaḍiyaḷ-ḷaahu `anh) narrated that the Messenger of 'Aḷḷaah, ṣallaḷ-ḷaahu `alaihi wa sallam, said (what means): "The Hour shall not be established until tribes of my 'Ummah unite with the idolaters, and until they worship idols. And indeed there shall be thirty impostors in my 'Ummah, each of them claiming that he is a Prophet. And I am the last of the Prophets, there is no Prophet after me." (Sunanut-Tirmiẕiyy, 2219, ṣaḥeeḥ)

'Aboo Sa`eedinil-Khudriyy (ṛaḍiyaḷ-ḷaahu `anh) narrated that the Messenger of 'Aḷḷaah, ṣallaḷ-ḷaahu `alaihi wa sallam, said (interpretation of the meaning): "By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! The Hour will not be established until predators speak to people, and until the tip of a man's whip and the straps on his sandal speak to him, and his thigh informs him of what occurred with his family after him." (Sunanut-Tirmiẕiyy, 2181, ṣaḥeeḥ)

It was narrated from 'Aboo Huṛaiṛah that the Messenger of 'Aḷḷaah, ṣallaḷ-ḷaahu `alaihi wa sallam, said (what means): "The Hour will not begin (...) until the land of the `Arabs goes back to being meadows with rivers." (Ṣaḥeeḥu Muslim, 157 between 1012 and 1013)

Narrated 'Aboo Huṛaiṛah (ṛaḍiyaḷ-ḷaahu `anh):
'Aḷḷaah's Messenger, ṣallaḷ-ḷaahu `alaihi wa sallam, said (interpretation of the meaning): "By Him ['Aḷḷaah] in Whose Hands my soul is, surely the son of Maṛyam [Mary] `Eesaa [Jesus] (`alaihimas-salaam) will shortly descend amongst you people [Muslims] and will judge mankind justly by the Law of the Quṛ'aan [as a just ruler] and will break the cross and kill the pigs and abolish the Jizyah {a tax taken from the non-Muslims, who are under the protection of the Muslim government. This Jizyah tax will not be accepted by `Eesaa [Jesus (`alaihis-salaam)]}. Then there will be abundance of money and nobody will accept charitable gifts." (Ṣaḥeeḥul-Bukhaariyy, 2222, cf. 2476, 3448, 3449; Ṣaḥeeḥu Muslim, 155)

'Aḷḷaahumma sallim.

Music: The Prophet, ṣallaḷ-ḷaahu `alaihi wa sallam, said (interpretation of the meaning): "From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful. And [from them] there will be some who will stay near the side of a mountain and in the evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them for something, but they will say to him: 'Return to us tomorrow.' 'Aḷḷaah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and He will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Resurrection." (Ṣaḥeeḥul-Bukhaariyy, 5590)
