On August 4, 1982, the greatest teen sex comedy ever made was released in theaters. It ranked #3 at the box office opening weekend, but "The Last American Virgin" was soon thwarted by "Fast Times at Ridgemont High", which released seven days later.
On the very same weekend 25 years later, the New Beverly Cinema in Hollywood, California, held an anniversary screening for both films. A handful of LAV's cast members showed up for a Q&A after the screening, and director Eli Roth ("Cabin Fever", "Hostel")helmed it.
