Anna Larsen was born in March of 2000. She started playing the piano when she was three. Currently, she studies with Tema Blackstone and Professor Hung-Kuan Chen at the New England Conservatory. Anna is also proud to be a scholar of the Lang Lang International Music Foundation http://www.thelanglangfound... We thank Lang Lang for his mentoring and for organizing exciting performance opportunities for the scholars. Anna studied composition with Alla Cohen and is now studying with Martin Boykan. Anna composed her first symphony, which was honored with a prestigious ASCAP award.

It's always lovely to hear from you! Thank you for your wonderful comments on my Chopin nocturne. I really loved Anna's Mephisto Valse. It's amazing to think what you are capable of! Yes, I am working hard on the Prokofiev. I should have the fourth movement up in a week or so. I really loved Anna's interpretation of that sonata and only hope I can play it as well!
