    Larryzelreh Larryzelreh commented:

Doc, on his deathbed and able to reflect on how precious love, life, and beauty are, is able to urge Wyatt to summon his famous courage to pursue life itself, just as he had so many mortal adversaries.

At least that’s what I got out of it.

Profile of NFL Hall of Fame linebacker Dick Butkus of the Chicago Bears

Here's a good profile segment on Dick Butkus from 1994. He is widely known as the greatest linebacker of all time.

    Larryzelreh Larryzelreh commented:

Does anyone know the name of the piece of NFL Films music that kicks in at about 3:04? It is SO badass. I've been looking for the title of it for a long time and can't find it. I know NFL Films also used it for their film on Super Bowl XXV (Giants vs. Bills).

    HUSKERS GREATEST MOMENTS

some of the huskers greatest moments

    Copyright 2007

    Larryzelreh Larryzelreh commented:

@Skers66 It's a perfectly legal play on any level of football. A team is allowed only one forward pass (thrown from behind the line of scrimmage) per play but can hand off or lateral the ball (backward) as many times as it wants on any given play.

Don't really agree with some of the praise for Sammy at Rich's expense. They're both freaking amazing. Awesome routine.

    George Carlin Doesn't vote

George carlin speaks the truth, Voting Is another way to keep you in a closed distracted bubble... no Offensive words please

    Larryzelreh Larryzelreh commented:

George was the best, and I always thought this was one of his most brilliant routines. Sharp, biting, sarcastic, brutally honest, absolutely hilarious, and, if exaggerated and therefore not 100 percent true, then still packed with enough serious truth to really make a person think beyond all the ...

    Smasher Vs. Stallone

Magic Schwarz as The Smasher, Armwrestles Stallone, in the movie Over The Top...

    Larryzelreh Larryzelreh commented:

His hat - it's like a switch. When he turns his hat around backwards, it's like a switch, and it turns him into a machine, like a truck. And that's how he beats Smasher.

NBC's Charlie Jones emphasizes Miami can be content to run some time down, with a 10-7 lead and less than 9 minutes remaining. Testaverde disagrees...

    Larryzelreh Larryzelreh commented:

I take it blow to the QB's head was not a penalty back then? Tim Johnson's sack on Vinny at 25 seconds left was unbelievable, but it's amazing to me watching this that such a play would draw no flag. (For the record, I'm not a fan of either team, nor am I trying to take a single thing away from P...
