About this user

I love all things based in the past old TV programmes, cartoon, film, and records. Yes I am sentimental and I hope you can hear my influences in my music I don't want to create a pastiche I want to take these things, memories, sounds, observations and spin them into something that will have you feeling the same as I do. Nudge us all musically forward. I know this is a great ambition but what the heck? All the music played in those cartoon Tom and Jerry, Pixie and Dixie, Bilko all of it makes me tingle and reminds me of a perceived simpler times. I figure we could all do with a bit of that, music that helps ease your soul transports you to a place where it is decidedly much warmer and gentler than the times we live in. Music that sounds nice to your ear as it sweeps out on the breeze through the kitchen door out to your ears as you lie in the sun listening to the birds and the bee working away.

These songs are the creation of just another worker bee, someone like you, sometimes bumbling around with her head down trying to pour learnt wisdom into song. Trying to conjure up a feeling that watching all these old programmes, films, and songs made in me.
