I understand that it was worse in person (and I've gotten carrot orange before... it's horrible, I understand), but the lightness really suits you. I think the dark blonde/light brown level makes your eyes stand out. and you would look awesome as a ginger.

@hmkrafts Yup ... and some scene kids cut too. They just wear more colors when they do it. My daughter is emo by day, scene by night. LOL

About the blade: My famous thing is forgetting which side is the sharp side. Still have a scar on my index finger from that one. The handles are just too darned unusable.

I laughed hysterically about the glitter because I can SO relate. I made my daughter a sandwich the other day and she said totally matter-of-factly, "complete with green glitter."

Yep, they are treble (triple) crochet. ALL of crocheting is done with what you have already learned, chain, slip stitch, single crochet, plus half double crochet, double crochet, and triple crochet. Triple is nice for scarves because it works up really quick, but it has more holes so it's not go...

It's a crazy potholder! I'm so excited you're doing it!!! :-D Yeah, your fingers will just learn where to hold your stuff comfortably with practice... and it's not always how the books say to. but this is wonderful! Your stitches are very nice and EVEN! You're ready to do a square now... so...

Duct tape is the best thing for getting glitter off molds. I haven't tried it on the latex tho. I doubt you will have any success at finding the putty at the dollar store now, so if not, I hope the duct tape works!

How cool is that? you have photos of all your pretty projects! I've often thought back through the years about things I made, usually as gifts, and thought 'I wish I could at least see that again, to remember how I did it!' Nice body of work!

The yarn is perfect. The hook, maybe easiest with a G or H, but this one could be fine... give it a try. And I TOTALLY agree with starting with the tjw1963 videos. Funny, I JUST started tonight teaching my daughter to crochet and was showing HER the tjw videos. LOL It is fun, just stick wit...
