About this user

About me? Well, that's kind of a tall order. I suppose I'm kind of a bland fellow, but if I must hit some high points, I believe the list should read as follows:

I like all kinds of things, such as video games, physics, space exploration, computer technology, customizing my Jeep, taking care of my dogs, resisting religious fundamentalism, and general debauchery. Especially debauchery. Standard nerd stuff.

Other than that, I'm a fairly honest student who's trying to land his first degree. Never been incarcerated, never been arrested. No trouble with the law since I was born. I don't steal things, go out of my way to hurt people, or generally try to make others uncomfortable. I help others as often as I can.

I don't smoke, I rarely drink, (a single beer per month would be frequent for me), and I don't do drugs. I haven't even been in a fistfight in almost two decades, and I have been happily married to the same woman for over nine years now.

Despite all this, I am a member of the least-trusted minority in the nation, and it's all because I don't subscribe to the belief in a deity.

This is an incredibly powerful idea to the puddle. Its limited scope of the world bears out all the evidence it needs to justify its position, so it is content and does not question anything beyond its hole.

The notion by which the puddle is taken is so powerful in fact that as the sun rises in the sky and temperatures rise, and gradually, as the puddle gets smaller and smaller, the puddle is still frantically clinging on to the notion that everything is going to be all right. After all, this world was meant to have him in it. Nay, it was built to have him in it. So the moment he completely evaporates and disappears catches him rather by surprise."
