Lannareth: Life, What I Believe - ''Life It is an intriguing process. The human life gives us an opportunity to feel, create, discover, and die. Life gives us many things, but it can also take away. Millions of people everywhere and every day, live in horrible, sometimes non-human conditions. Still, they strive on. They are the ones who experience the most, the ones who have gone through great obstacles, and survived. So why do we, the ones who get everything handed to ourselves, complain of the small hindrances we face, and call life itself a hindrance? To live is a choise. Some take their lives under great emotional depression, or the pain life has caused them to experience. If life really was just happy things, we could not experience life properly, and we could not discover it's true nature. The world we live in is ever growing. Us, humans keep discovering new things. Our world is growing and we are evolving. I believe, that the greatest gifts the human possesses, are the abilities to create, innovate and discover. Even the smallest things we've discovered, are worthy to use a human life on studying. Death is a part of life, not the end of it. To quote one of my greatest idols of all time, Richard Dawkins: "We are going to die, and that makes us the lucky ones. Most people are never going to die because they are never going to be born. The potential people who could have been here in my place, but who will in-fact never see the light of day, outnumber the sand grains of Sahara. Certainly those unborn ghosts include grater poets than Keats, Scientists greater than Newton. We know this, because the set of possible people allowed by our DNA, so massively outnumbers the set of actual people. In the teeth of these stupefying odds, it is you and I in our ordinariness, that are here. We, privileged few, who won the lottery of birth. How dare we whine, at our inevitable return to that prior state, from which the vast majority have never spurred?" Whatever a human being chooses to do with his life, is well worth living for.
