Lampshade Drama

Matt and Jim formed Lampshade Drama after a band they were in ceased to exist for various reasons. Jim played drums and Matt played bass. The start of Lampshade Drama was the start of their excursions in the realm of guitar and singing and harmonica.

Sharing a common passion for Bob Dylan, the two have mainly covered his songs in their own way but but have also explored new and uncharted artists besides Dylan.

Recently a growing interest in the blues, namely Lightnin' Hopkins and delta blues and Howlin Wolf and the chicago blues have been a heavy influence over the two and it is evident in their newest releases.
