"@81emgshredder Their web site CLEARLY states that the buyer is responsible for dealer prep which includes replacing the shipping oil with motorcycle grade engine oil and tightening all bolts. They even suggest removing all the bolts one at a time and replace them after coating with Locktight or an equivalent product. Sounds to me like people are not following directions and then blaming the seller when their bolts fall out."

Dear Fellow Patriot, I am CL Bryant, a former democratic radical, former NAACP Chapter President, current Tea Party leader and eternal freedom fighter. I have journeyed the new Underground Railroad to escape from the Progressive plantations of the government masters, the eyes of liberal overseers and the whips of conformity. I am the Runaway Slave! The chase is on to finish our feature-length documentary about how sinister big government and progressive policies have disproportionately affected the Black community and how Black Conservatives are speaking truth to power to break the shackles of tyranny so all Americans can be free at last. See for yourself at http://www.runawayslavemovie.com I believe in an America defined by courage, liberty and faith. We have the courage of our founding fathers who sacrificed their personal safety, security and their very lives to break the chains of bondage of an oppressive government. In each American is the light of liberty; the desire to chart our own destinies. In faith, we ask God to grant us the wisdom to seek His counsel in each step we take! These steps I have taken have been only through God's guidance and now I need your help to finish this film. As the Runaway Slave, I have traveled across the nation with my crew to expose the results of progressive policies and the underbelly of this movement that seeks to seize the hopes of America and drag them down this thorn-laden path to destruction. I have interviewed Black conservatives, tea party leaders and journalists who fight for the soul of America through any channel that will hear their calls. Runaway Slave movie will take the message of liberty to our nation. Right now, $45,000 stands between me and the release of this movie to an America that does not judge by the color of my skin but by the content of my character. Your donation will show others that these United States of America are not a nation divided but one united by a desire to save the best hope for freedom on the face of the earth.
We have finished shooting the video; money is now needed to edit it and to spread our message to the heart of freedom-loving Americans everywhere. Please make a tax-deductible donation at to help me finish this film; the autumn deadline is looming! https://www.freedomworks.org/contribu...
Your gift will: • Pay for video editors to assemble the stories and rent the editing equipment. • Hire producers to dig through the hours of interviews and footage to find the right, persuasive stories. • Hire a public relations professional to book me on radio and television shows to raise awareness about the film. • Supply marketing funds so we can blast through the Liberal Hollywood machine and find new ways to distribute the film to a theatre near you. • Purchase historical stock footage from video libraries. • Maintain and update our website and eNewsletter. • Help me reach millions through email and other internet resources.
Your prayers and financial support have brought me this far, now let's cross the finish line together! You have already run hard with me, I now ask you to run harder. Whether it is $20 or $2500, your tax-deductible donation at https://www.freedomworks.org/contribu... will help! Run harder! God Bless and Keep you! CL Bryant P.S. Our funds are depleted but we are so close. The crew, my family and I have sacrificed personally and financially to make this film. We asked for help and the kindness and the generosity of the American spirit have shone through. We need your help once more. Any amount that you give will get us closer to the goal of completing this film. Let's finish this journey together May God Bless you & God Bless America. "We've Only Just Begun" is The Carpenters' signature song. Although it was recorded in early 1970, it is still much in demand as a wedding anthem.Written by the songwriting team of Roger Nichols (music) and Paul Williams (lyrics), the song originally debuted in a commercial for Crocker National Bank in California in 1970, with Williams providing the vocals. Williams has said they left out a direct reference to the bank in part to make it salable as a pop song, and also because they couldn't conceive a reasonable rhyme for "Crocker." It is ranked #405 on the Rolling Stone magazine's list of "the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time". The song was originally recorded by Smokey Roberds, a friend of Nichols, under the name Freddie Allen (his Christian names). Although fairly successful in California, it made no impact nationally, which Roberds attributed to promotion and distribution problems. Believing that the song had hit potential, Richard Carpenter selected the composition for the duo's third single and included it on the LP Close to You. Released in the late summer of 1970, the single featured his sister Karen's lead vocals and the overdubbed harmonies of both siblings. Following their hit "(They Long To Be) Close to You" onto the charts, "We've Only Just Begun" crested at #2 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, becoming the pair's second gold single and was considered by both Karen and Richard to be their signature song. According to The Billboard Book of Top 40 Hits (6th edition), on the U.S. Adult Contemporary singles chart, it was the duo's best-performing tune, lasting seven weeks at #1 (besting the six-week stay at the top of "Close To You"). The song helped them to win two Grammy Awards in 1971. One was for the Best New Artist (The Carpenters), and the other was for Best Contemporary Performance by a Duo, Group, or Chorus (Close to You). In 1998, the recording was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame for recordings of lasting quality or historical significance

more
Karen Carpenter recorded her vocal for "Do You Hear What I Hear?" in 1978 during the sessions for the "Christmas Portrait" record album, but the song was left unfinished at the time because too many songs had been recorded for the project.
Richard Carpenter later completed production on this track and several others in 1984 (the year after Karen's passing) for inclusion on the duo's second Yuletide album, "An Old Fashioned Christmas." (Both albums are now available as the 2-CD "Christmas Collection.")
*************** As you can hear on this song, Karen's magical voice was particularly touching on Christmas carols. What is remarkable about this vocal is that it was a "work lead" recorded during the rhythm tracking sessions to familiarize the musicians with the song, and it was never intended to be heard by the public. Had Karen lived, she no doubt would have re-recorded her vocal once the final arrangement had been completed. But Karen's work leads were usually so pitch-perfect that they were releasable.
Why does Richard sing the first verse instead of Karen? Richard explains on his website:
"Karen would sing the work lead while we did the rhythm track and some of the orchestra backing. The beginning right after the intro and the first part of the first verse, the track is from one take. It was then edited onto the bulk of another take; and, in the bit of track on the beginning of one take, Karen either misplaced her music or she was preoccupied, and ended up singing 'hmm, hmm night wind to the little lamb', instead of 'Said the night wind to the little lamb.' The only way I could do it, because it had 'hmm hmm' was for me to sing, 'Said the night wind to the little lamb, do you hear what I hear' and then continue it with Karen."
************************ The Carpenters never produced an official video for this song, so I assembled this unauthorized version (which is why the lip movements are out of sync), using clips from these video sources:
--"Carpenters: A Christmas Portrait" (TV special, 1978); --"Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft" (A&M Records video, 1977); and --"Carpenters: Space Encounters" (TV special, 1978). Written by Noel Regney and Gloria Shayne Produced by Richard Carpenter Arranged by Peter Knight
"Do You Hear What I Hear?" has been recorded by many, many artists, including The Harry Simeone Chorale, Bing Crosby, Perry Como, Johnny Mathis, Whitney Houston, Carrie Underwood, Destiny's Child, Martina McBride, Kristen Chenoweth and Third Day (to name just a few).
