The Lady Denman Heritage Complex Channel

The Lady Denman Heritage Complex (LDHC) represents the rich cultural and historical heritage of the Jervis Bay region in NSW Australia. The maritime museum and galleries reflect the aboriginal,maritime and surveying heritage of the region,while the outdoor areas of the complex demonstrate our commitment to rehabilitation and preservation of the natural environment of the region.
The Museum is interactive where visitors are encouraged to board the Lady Denman Ferry, built in Huskisson in 1911. It provides local people with the opportunity to reminisce about about the early ship building and timber working days of the area. Visitors are able to appreciate the importance of the industry to the local economy during those times and reminisce about the ferry's days on Sydney Harbour.
